Built around Pakistani rules, not generic formulas
Official sources first
Tax slabs come from the Finance Act and FBR, tariffs from NEPRA, admission formulas from PMDC, HEC and universities. Every page lists its sources.
Worked examples you can check
Each calculator shows the formula and real examples with the arithmetic, so you can verify the result by hand.
Reviewed when rules change
When a budget, SRO or tariff changes, we update the calculator and the "last updated" date on the page.
Free calculators for everyday life in Pakistan
Most online calculators are built for the US or India, so they use the wrong tax rules, the wrong currency and the wrong units. PakCalc is different: it is designed around the numbers Pakistanis actually deal with — FBR salary and business tax slabs, Zakat Nisab in tola, PTA phone registration, DISCO and K-Electric bills, marla and kanal, MDCAT and university merit formulas, and HEC grading.
Each calculator page follows the same structure. First you get the tool itself, then a short quick answer that explains the rule in plain words, a table of key facts, the exact formula, worked examples you can check by hand, a deeper explanation of edge cases, frequently asked questions and the official sources we used. Longer topics, such as the 2026-27 salary tax changes or how to calculate Zakat, have their own guides.
Everything is free and works on any phone. You do not need to create an account, and the figures you enter stay in your browser. Results are estimates to help you plan; for filing a return or a medical or legal decision, please confirm with the relevant authority or a qualified professional.
